Native Hawaiian artist Malialani Dullanty creates diverse works of art that explore the complexities of being indigenous, hapa, carrying generational trauma, struggling with depression, and consistently striving for sovereignty - both personally and politically. Art is her method of conveying truths and reaching for freedom, not only for herself but for everyone. Through the use of watercolor, mixed media, and printmaking, Malialani develops abstract representations of her experiences. She is also a poet and writer in addition to being an artist, and often pairs her art with her writing to create an experience for patrons.

Growing up as part of Hawaiian Diaspora, she found her way home to Hawaiʻi in 2021 and has lived on Moku 'o Keawe with her husband, two children, dog, bunny, and two horses.

You can follow her artistic process and journey to get the full behind-the-scenes experience on her Substack, or contact her directly in order to collaborate or commission work.

Mark Dullanty is a third generation carpenter who creates practical homeware, tables, benches, bowls, plates, and more.

You can find his work in the store and at occasional markets around Moku 'o Keawe.
